We hold a universalist world view, based on the teachings of Hazrat Inayat Khan and Murshid Samuel Lewis, that sees and honors the truth in all religions and spiritual traditions, known and unknown. The Sufi's house of worship is the human heart, wherein dwells the Divine Beloved; Sufism is the message of love, harmony, and beauty. There is no compulsion, no dogma, on the Sufi path.

 

Sufi Youth Retreat 2010

July 13 – 17, 2010

Sufi youth ages 16–29 are gathering together for our tenth retreat in the beauty of the northern California's redwoods to dance, sing, and pray together.

This year we are honored to welcome both Pir Shabda Kahn and Sheikha Majida Nelson as guest teachers. Together they will guide us in practice, contemplation, and the wealth of Sufi lineage through the Dances of Universal Peace, zikr, music, and conversation. There will be time to explore the beauty of the forest as well as play a few rousing games of basketball! We hope to see you in July!
